Paint
Fancy doesn’t mean that you have to paint the coop only with bright colors. It is better and more pleasing to paint them with colors that blend well with the paint on the walls of your home. For instance, if you own a brick house then try to match your coops by painting them with earthy colors.
Design
Similarly the overall design of the coop should match that of your house. In addition to painting the coop with earthy colors you can also place some bricks around the coop to match your brick house.
Pamper your chickens
There are certain things that chickens love and one of them is a perch. Try to include as many perches as possible inside the coop to make your chickens happy. Hens usually like to nest in places that are near to the ground, preferably with low roof to protect them from rain, sunlight or wind.
Keep in mind to provide the hens with a secure and enclosed space to lay eggs. Chickens will also appreciate comfortable bedding in their nests. You can either choose a wooden or a metal cubicle with proper bedding to serve as nests for the chickens in fancy chicken coops.
Feeders and water bowls are common items found in coops and for fancy chicken coops you can use brightly colored metal pans or bowls for this purpose. Just make sure that the paint you use is non-toxic
Protect in style
Fences are essentially installed to protect the chickens from the elements and against any attacks from dogs, foxes, coyotes or other such predators. However, you can make use of this essential safety part of a coop structure to enhance the look of fancy chicken coops.
While fences can be made to look attractive, make sure that they are strong and high enough to prevent the chickens from flying over the fence and to keep the predators from entering the coop.
